Resume:
· Dr. Christina Pappa studied at the University of Patras School of Medicine (1995-2001), where she received a "very good" degree. For her performance during her studies, she received a fourth year scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY).
· After completing the field service at CI Igoumenitsa Thesprotia (2002-2003), he worked as a Scientific Associate of the Pulmonary Clinic of the "Henrikos Ntinan" Hospital (2003-2005).
· Trained in Pulmonology at the 3rd GNNTHA "Sotiria" Pulmonary Clinic (2005-2010). In the field of specialty he was trained in Pathology for 1 year at the 4th University Pathological Clinic of PGN "ATTIKON" (2008-2009) and for 6 months in the Intensive Care Unit of the GNNTHA Respiratory Deficiency Center "Sotiria" (2010).
· In 2010, he received his Pulmonology-Tuberculosis specialty exams.
· During her specialization she completed her doctoral dissertation at the Laboratory of Experimental Physiology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which she completed in 2011, when she was awarded a Doctor of Medical Sciences Degree.
· In 2011 she worked as Assistant Curator of NHS at the Second University Pulmonary Clinic of PGI "ATTIKON". During this time he was involved as Principal Investigator in the REACH multicenter study "Community Pneumonia Treatment in Outpatient Patients".
· After written exams received 2 scholarships from the Hellenic Pulmonary Society. In this context he was trained in the Department of Non-Invasive Ventilation and Sleep Disorders at Bristol University Hospital, UK for 6 months (2012).
Afterwards he was trained for 1 year (2012-2013) in Thoracic Oncology at Bristol University Hospital (Bristol Haematology and Oncology Center), UK. During the above training she worked as a paid curator at a locum Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine (Head of Outpatient Lung Cancer Assessment Practice- 2 week-wait Clinic, attending weekly Multidisciplinary Meeting, Clinical Ward visit Outpatient Assessment and Treatment Center for Acute Respiratory Diseases (Hot Clinic).
· During her stay in the UK she was trained and received a Certificate of Adequacy for Level A thoracic ultrasound at King's College Hospital, London (2013).
· From 25/9/13 to 31/8/22, initially Curator and, since November 2018, Deputy Director at the 3rd Oncology Clinic of the "METROPOLITAN" hospital, Director Dr. B. Barbounis, with a special focus on lung cancer.
